During Paleolithic times she would have been in very high demand for interior decorating on those cave walls!

A humble countenance is pleasing with anyone, though permit me to reply, you ARE an artist. Art comes in many forms and styles, and I clearly see your own unique style in yours. It has a beautiful resemblance among the master carvers in the world , whose work is frequently enjoyed in the highest esteemed art museums. Even more, your art is inspired by your experiences . It is not about money. Though your art surely is and would be esteemed in a market environment. Many here would love a piece to admire in their home. Art is not about money. It's about life captured in the moment and enjoyed by others forever. So please insert new programming in your mind , about what talents you have in so many subjects. And if it's difficult to believe my opinion, just remember.... I get paid for what I see.

I'm with PF on this one. On here we are surrounded by rare talent and knowledge we could not get elsewhere. Not all in the same place anyway.
I also agree with Sharron, you didn't need to go get some big fancy smancy art degree to be an artist. Your work qualifies your for that title all by itself.

Hoss reminded me , among the most amazing artists in history, did not have any training at all. They learned from fresh, raw experience and practice. Not a few artists who do receive training or schooling, end up resembling their instructors, and thus are blind to acquiring their own unique style. That said, there are artists who have had schooling and do well , of course, but many others attain just as much satisfaction and success, if not more so, by learning on their own. Some of the greatest masters of painting and marble sculptures on earth, , have never had any instruction. Their work is priceless in museums and in historic buildings , for centuries. I did not have any training at all. I learned by myself, and studying the old master painters of Europe. The indigenous Alaskan and European carvers and cave painters surely never expected for very many to see their work, much less in so many published forums and museum documentaries , today Art has nothing to do with instruction, but hard work and a natural eye for colour and detail.

Habitual trails in the mind can be deeply hard-wired and take time to root out, and replace with new mental bandwidth. The fact that you have only created a few pieces of this wonderful art is proof anew of my reasoning , that you are a natural artist. Time doesn't miraculously suddenly fit the term art , either. If that were true, no artist would ever become one , for they are always learning and refining. There is no graduation. Again, art is NOT about money. Or marketing. Art is expressiveness of the heart, that others do find happiness in . Some of the greatest art ever known was given away free. Ever hear of the BLUES, in the music realm ? In America, the best music from this country's founding are called the Blues. Invented from people who are in the depths of trials , tears and depression. This style is so good that not a few genres of music have been formed straight from Blues music. In tears while they sing and play that guitar, or big band music. Art in any form means just as much from a heart in trial , as from one in elation. It is all art. Keep expressing yourself in your art , regardless . Do whatever you want with it. And may you find happiness in small and great things along the way. Hit anything over the head with a stick all you want .... It doesn't matter to the bear statue what table it lives on, yours or a friend's. It is still all art. Cutting a new trail in the bush takes some time. So does installing new mental bandwidth. Please keep the new bandwidth and install it a bite at a time. Art is NOT about money. I get paid for what I see .

While I don't disagree with ya Sharron I used to have a house full of kids and foster kids so I can only imagine the plight of feeding them on a single income.
If someone smarter than myself can figure out how to make the import export end of it work, and how to transfer the money directly to our new fav Russian artist, then I will start the bidding.
I bid $100 US for choice of the figures Paul posted pictures of and I'd like to reserve the right to pick 2 or 3 at the same price. Without looking I remember I love the wolverine and the otter for sure. We got quite a group here- BC is obviously an international lawyer because he is working up in Canada- combined and united can we ever make this work?

Tatiana, I've read many of your posts and you would fit very well into higher academia, especially research, within the US. You could likely earn a very decent income for you and your son here, doing something you enjoy. People with fine minds, from all over the world, are very welcome here. You can still get a US travel Visa. https://visalist.io/united-states-of-america/visa-requirements/russiaYou could visit the US for up to 3 months on the Visa and try to find a position with a University here. You could then return to Russia and get an immigration Visa, so you could immigrate here legally. It's still very doable. There are over 3,00,000 Russians living in the US. America wants and needs more people like you. Keith
