Are they like sugar cookies with frosting?

Are they soft or do they crumble?

Probably more about the nostalgia rather than the gourmet rating of the cuisine.

At least you had a good time with your mom.

Savell gets it.

Catch got it when the mods explained explicitly what his boundaries were after the last time. He deliberately pushed the limit .

Don't soften to this . It only enables them to continue to blame and whine and point to others. It is pathetic.

They know exactly what they are doing, and they will never see reality as long as they are pandered to. The mods who know better , and certainly have the experience to know better too. They DON'T agree with weak pandering to deliberate dysfunction.

It isn't just an apology to Ashley. It goes much deeper than that and involves more folks than herself. Other men , also.

Quiet down in here and get back to the fridge and get us some beers! lol. Sorry, my kids drove me crazy and made me do it.

Catch22, Jeff, was up pretty early, he texted me at 9:29am and told me he had received a permanent ban. He wanted me to look at the thread and see if I thought he had screwed up really badly. He did.

I talked to him on the phone twice today. Yesterday, the man he looks up to most in the world, his oldest surviving brother called Jeff crying and talking about ending his life. Jeff was really shaken by it and drank alcohol, while he is on pain killers for his left hip.

Jeff's brother and sister in law are heartbroken over loss of visitation with their 10 year old granddaughter, who they were caring for. The girl's mother, who has serious problems had won custody from their son. The girl's mother told them she was never going to let them see her again. Jeff's sister in law has just been laying in bed, basically giving up.

I was able to find online that grandparents and step grandparents have legal visitation rights under new laws signed by Governor DeSantis. I gave the information to Jeff, who passed it onto his brother. Hopefully they can use the information to get a legal order allowing them to see their beloved granddaughter again.

I don't know Jeff well, but we do talk on the phone occasionally, like I do with a lot of members. Jeff is having a hard time of it. He's only 58 and he has debilitating pain in his left hip that is preventing him from doing the things he wants to do. He mentioned that his canoe has been on his truck for over a week and he's in so much pain he can't take it off. He believes he had a stroke during his last surgery, that has harmed his memory and mood.

Being in terrible pain and being frustrated over not being able to do what you want to do does not give anyone the right to treat others poorly. But it's very hard for many people to overcome that pain and frustration enough to control their emotions.

Jeff thought he was engaged in playful bantering with some other members he likes. His altered mental state ruined his discernment. That still doesn't make it right.

The doctors Jeff has been dealing with through Medicare have been less than helpful and keep scheduling things very far out. I encouraged him to just go to the ER to try to get things taken care of quicker. I told him the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

Keith

This is similar to the PCR situation. I am not sure I buy this statement though "Jeff thought he was engaged in playful bantering with some other members he likes."

He was engaged with me and Savell who he clearly has stated in the past he does NOT like.

Still, sucks to wake up with hangover and permanent ban.

But I think white did the right thing.

I also think it's big of you, Keith, to take up for him.

I call BS on the playful banter with members he liked. Let's call a spade s spade shall we?

If a guy who has always been respectful of others has a bad day and acts out of character then we found out he had some sort of reaction to some meds nobody could have predicted then I'd find some forgiveness and hope everyone would join me.

This was not the first time or some sort of isolated incident. You do dirt bag things long enough and to enough good folks I'm gonna consider you a dirt bag and figure you got what you deserve.

Man, I got a glimpse into what that path of foul posts lead to. Not the relationship to foster on the site, for me.

Sounds like he got caught up in a "Catch 22". Im sure it wasnt his first time mixing pain killers and alcohol. I could see maybe getting caught up in a civil argument or discussion, but he went straight for the jugulars. Poor girl thinks finally its safe to come back on T-Man and gets viciously attacked LOL.
