Wanted to let everyone know that any fourth grader is eligible for a family pass to all national parks. If you’ve got a trip planned and have a kid that qualifies, visit the website and print off the voucher. You show it at the first stop and they have the student sign the card. The card is good for the entire family at all national parks for the school year.

Hope it saves y’all some money.

seems like us citizens should not get charged to use our public land our taxes should be covering it. So far ytd over 20k has come out of my check in taxes. Now I know that gets all split up fed, state, ss, county ect but it blows me away every year when I see I'm paying more in taxes each year than I was making for the year just 24 years ago and that's just payroll taxes. Not including property, sales, license plates, user taxes like on tires and gas that are added to the price you don't see it listed,

Then I still buy $50 season pass card or pay 7 each time to get into my state parkes. And have to buy another pass to get I to federal parks.

Still the best cou try in the world but we are geting taxed to death. I wish people had to pay in pay roll taxeseach quarter instead of them being s
deducted before they get their money. if they were that check I expect they would be demanding accountability on government spending.

$80, but I'll trade that extra $70 to knock a few years off my age, lol

I went to Saguaro national park, they asked me if I was a vet. It was on my drivers license and they gave me a free lifetime pass.

Had ours for about 20 years now. What a deal. Just went into Yellowstone and Glacier with my card and my wife's card. We had four grandkids with us. Alll free.

We have used ours all over the US. Only on Cape Hatteras National Seashore was it ever not honored.

I keep a copy of my DD214 in my wallet. It's come in handy over the past 50 years.

How time flies by. Bought my Lifetime Senior Pass to the Federal Parks this spring. Couple weeks out of the year during trapping season I would pay at 5 or 6 locations daily while trapping.
