Asking anyone that actually knows verses the rumors,
Supposedly those 2 Providences residents are considering Independence from Ottawa.
Hearing 33% in ALBERTA and 27% in SASK.
If true can see BC joining the movement
Could it possibly the 51st, 52nd and 53rd States?

The job of a Patriot is not to protect his country but to protect the people from the tryannical government

What SPJones said.

there's a few 51st state guys, but mostly just want to be left alone by ottawa. I can't see BC joining, but you never know.

Nobody here in Sask. wants to join the US. We just are tired of Ottawa disrespecting us left and right and would rather raise (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) and threaten to leave until they get the picture and start showing western Canada the respect it deserves.

As nice as the thought is, in reality it would be like having 3 more Oregon type states joining and forever tipping the scales in favor of the loony toon progressive clowns….

Btw, I love Canada and most all of the Canadians I have ever met are extremely nice. It is the backwards politics that have them beaten down, an extra 250 years of being under the thumb of another nation quite possibly could have that effect.

Alberta doesn’t want to finally get out from under the CRA, just to be under the IRS

It’s nothing personal

For those interested,,,,here’s the numbers

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TMX0LvA-PTBWnuQGbktvPrPgcJ5tfPj0/view

We should have a draft constitution out by the end of August

It’s a very exciting time in Alberta

Secession is most popular in Alaska (36%), Texas (31%), and California (29%). While a variety of factors are likely at play, there is a significant correlation between support for secession within a state and that state's physical size as well as its population; the largest and most populous states have among the highest levels of support.
In nearly all the states included in our analysis, support for secession is higher among Republicans than among Democrats.

Secession Schemes Within the States: Last November, voters in seven Illinois counties approved ballot measures calling for the creation of a new state. More than anything, they wanted to get away from Cook County and what they see as the pernicious, too-liberal influence of Chicago.

Huston’s bill to annex parts of Illinois may go nowhere but it’s part of a trend. Over the last dozen years or so, voters in red counties within blue states such as California, Colorado and Maryland have either approved secession measures or at least started serious movements. They feel orphaned by policies that reflect Democratic cities but not their own rural values.

Same question any truth to these from people living in the states or counties?
