She must be one heck of a momma doe because both those fawns would make 3 of any of the little 'ens in the home pasture. Takes a lotta milk to grow em up that fast.

I like seeing deer twins. I always figured it meant the deer were healthy. My uncle told me after the first fawn deer are pretty likely to have twins. Said while one is getting ate, mom and sibling can escape. Said thats why you dont see more of them. Dont know if thats true or not. I do think its a sign mom ate good over the winter to have two live ones.

Have seen a doe with triplets in my yard this summer. Not sure if she had all three or if one lost a mother and she adopted one.
