I live about 40 minutes and work about five minutes from the locks. Are you doing any woodsman stuff while up here, or just site seeing?

I'd recommend that you make time to stop at Clyde's in the Soo, you wont regret it.

Happy to suggest other places if you have any questions, let me know.

Go outside and do stuff.

Clyde's is a drive-in burger shack right on the river, right at the ferry to Sugar Island. They make excellent burgers, bring them right to your car, and you can sit and watch freighters go by as you eat.

Go outside and do stuff.

The only Clydes Drive-In I know is located just west of Saint Ignace on US-2! Can’t miss it if you’re heading west on 2!

We're headed to white fish point in about a half hour. Then to the falls. What a coincidence. And yes to Clydes.

Curious as to what blue berries?
The ones grown all over the lower 48 or the best I've ever eaten, that only grow at most 2 foot tall, and are small as bebes ?
Huckleberries?
The UP is close to being in most of Canada! Same wilderness, and hard tracking off road.
