I mean could be me , they just refuse to deliver my mail because my dog chases the car. All my old mail ladies never cared at all but this one ..anythig. That's a minor inconvenience to her tired every single package I get a pink slip even if it can fit in the box and now even though she drives right up to my mailbox everyday she refuses to put my mail in the box because my dog chases the mail van to the end of the yard.

The newly appointed US Postal Secretary Trump appointed is not in favor of privatizing the postal service so we may be looking at similar maili handling for the near or even moderate future.

I don't ship stuff like I used to, but I have had nearly zero problems with USPS over the last 20 years. I'm sure that will jinx me, but the shear volume of stuff they handle must be a daunting task these days with everyone buying so much on-line.

Walmart.com uses USPS and they're losing business. They need to change their shipper if they want to compete with Amazon. I have tracked packages to within 150 miles of my address only to have it shipped in a totally opposite direction.

I went into one of the larger USPS offices today in Topeka, KS. Exactly 1 person working the front, she said she was the only one there today. She was kind and helpful enough, but she also had a line of 10 people waiting to do passports. (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman)

It's not anywhere near as efficient as it used to be that's for sure. I'll also say I don't think I'd want to be a carrier for them now days. They have so many Amazon packages they run 7 days a week here. It doesn't look like a lot of fun to me. They brought in a heavyweight 6 wheeeler to run around the area with the Amazon packages.

Antiquated service at this point, is going all private vs USPS viable and will it remain affordable and letter be handled? A rough calculation of .08 cents in 1985 is .82. Service is terrible and computerization intended to reduce employees and speed delivery has not worked at all. I had a package not a letter sent from Iowa to WI, took 15 days. Went from Central Iowa to Southern WI, 3 times, twice to California, MN 3 times and finally delivered.

We sent a book to a cousin of wife’s on June 23, it is still bouncing around between the Twin Cities and a different town in WI looking for Hudson. It’s been back and forth to EauClaire a half dozen times, to Duluth a few times, to Iron River yesterday, (20 miles from where we sent it). Then off to a small town 30 miles farther south.

What is really interesting is the USPS puts the label on it . It is not like they can't read the shipping label! Because Our writing is not legible! Bad soft ware? 1 made it and 1 has not? I wonder if A-I takes over what it will be like?
