Iam doing an article on Bill Hoffman it was written in his town’s history that he wrote for FFG and other trapping publications from 1928- to the 1970s yet when I look through older ffg I do not see anything from him.
He was supposed to be doing the trapline or question box. Iam thinking the towns history book is wrong and that maybe he worked for a different trapping publication. Iam fairly sure he was a big friend to EJ Dailey and helped him launch some of Daileys early magazines.
Just wondering if anyone knows anymore seen Bill Hoffmans adds or columns?

Mink I Love who is on this forum sold a 1928 FFG magazine last year that listed Bill Hoffman as a writer.

I could be mistaken, but I believe that the drawing that was at the head of the Trapline section was by Bill Hoffman. It was used by FFG for many years.

I was told atleast two or three different art works in ffg are related to Hoffman
He also had ties to Dailey and the magazines EJ was putting out somehow.

I don’t know if the was American trapper or North American trapper or trappers digest but they where communicating a lot in the 20s and 30s and maybe even beyond.
