My bride and I went and saw clay walker last Friday.. it was way more than I expected. And I mean that in a good way. I was just expecting him to do his own music… not the fantastic covers.
I mean to tell you guys that the guitarists he used were session guitarist good!!
I was absolutely blown away with the Stevie ray Vaughn cover, prince cover of purple rain ( I’m not a prince fan, but my wife is) Bob seger night moves, but the one that made the show for me was the cover of “ Amarillo by morning “
That fiddle was spot on, note for note and pitch perfect correct. I got goosebumps.
That’s the first concert we’ve been to in a long time.

It was kinda sad to see him having to perform sitting down and then needing help walking off the stage.. clay is battling multiple sclerosis… you certainly couldn’t tell it in his voice.

Stand by your principles, Stand by your guns, and victory complete and permanent is sure at last.

Wife and I saw him in Deadwood. She started crying. Chics are weak.

I saw him with Neal McCoy years ago- it was a great show.

What"s good for me may not be good for the weak minded.
