I am looking to build a chain gang (stake out for multiple) for my dogs. The ones I see on line tend to use 7 x 7 PVC coated galvanized steel. But when I look it up I tend to find Vinyl coated is much more readily available.
Is there a big difference between the PVC and vinyl coatings, as far as using it outdoors? (will the vinyl break up in the cold?)
Can anyone recommend a supplier that is good to work with?

Thanks,
Brad

I suspect that poly vinyl chloride is the same as vinyl. There are other much less common types of vinyl - and the manufacturer might be using something odd - but PVC is the most common vinyl.

maintenanceguy, Thanks for your reply. Until I read your reply, I overlooked the pvc/vinyl connection when I read the description. I just assumed they were talking about two different things. That makes my search a whole lot easier.

Any big box or hardware store will have what you need, plus any snaps/connectors.
FWIW: Those screw type anchors work great for my beagles, and will be a lot easier to handle and use than a long string of wire, and will give the dogs a larger area to move in.
