Finster OP trapper Joined: Mar 2013 Fredonia, PA.	Had my heart surgery a couple of weeks ago. It went well. It's pretty crazy what they can do. I had a hole in my heart (from birth) which aided in my stroke. They went up through my groin and patched it. Made a 1/4" incision down at my groin and didn't even need to stitch it. I was in and out the same day in a couple of hours. I had them knock me out, they were just going to twilight me, but my blood pressure goes crazy with things like that. Anyway, I have to take it easy for a couple days but I'm back at it now. The chemo is much worse than that was. At least it's one lest thing out of the way. Last edited by Finster; 07/23/25 04:03 PM. Lugnut trapper L Joined: Dec 2006 SEPA	Good to hear Finster. I'm surprised you opted to be knocked out and intubated. I have an ablation scheduled for my artrial flutter. I don't like being intubated and luckily this procedure doesn't require it. Eh...wot?

And a blot clot went through that hole in his heart (from birth) And caused a stroke at 26 years old. Glad they got you patched up !! It is better to die on your feet than to live on your knees.
