We had a barely 3 month old pullet lay an egg today. I tell people 5 months for the earliest layers and up to 7 or 8 months for some of the later breeds. Has anyone ever had a pullet lay at 3 months?

Never had one start laying that young. The breeds we keep usually start around five months like you said.

Eh...wot?

Some of the Dutch Bantams, OEGB Bantams and Traditional Malaysian Seramas will lay at 3 1/2 months. Some of the roosters will do a hoarse little crow at about 3 months.

Roosters’ first crows are comical. Then they’re annoying.

This is a red sexlink of some sort(I don't recall which one). I also have a white leghorn rooster of the same age trying to crow.
