It should be called gender denying surgery.

In good old Oregon you can get a sex change at us taxpayers expense. A young man that worked for my son at his restaurant got a sex change on the Oregon health plan at taxpayers expense. But my daughter-in-law can't get a knee replaced with private insurance. The insurance company denied it.
