Law Dog OP trapper Joined: Dec 2010 Central, SD	We make a couple ice trays just for the dogs in hot weather they think is a treat and it cools them off a bit. With dogs not able to sweat like us they cool by panting to regulate heat. We just fill the bottom of the trays about a half inch with water. Last edited by Law Dog; 07/26/25 03:33 PM. 160user trapper Joined: Jan 2007 MN	I have never owned are took care of a dog that didn't love ice cubes. When I watch my nieces dog, I like to drop a couple of Benadryls in each ice cube tray before I put it in the freezer. That thing just never quits moving. Last edited by 160user; 07/26/25 08:51 PM.
