Cysts or warbles as Danny states. If they are warbles they will pop out once they reach maturity. That one on the front shoulder is near ready.

Fibroma.

Somewhat common in deer.

Does not affect the meat quality, but they are unsightly.

Similar to warts...they come and go. Sometimes deer have them bad.

Warbles are the larva stage of heel flies. I have never seen them on deer. On cattle the ones I have seen were almost always further up the back and mostly along the spine.

Last summer I seen a doe with a fawn beaded down.I watched them and I seen birds landing on the doe's back and picking ticks or some kind of bugs. Never seen that before except on TV in Africa .
