B&L #44 DBL LS. I have a couple and love them. I wish I had bought more years ago.
I have nothing clever to put here.

Had to search it up. Wow, pretty cool. 20” across so did they use 220 springs or make their own. ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2025/07/full-56418-264709-img_1036.png)

The Montgomery #2 round jaw, man what a neat coyote trap. I had a bunch of them after college and over the years my supply dwindled to 0 from either theft or tractor mashing. I bought some more of them off of Scott on here a few years ago and when I caught a coyote with them that first season setting those, man it brought back some great memories. Stout music wire springs, flat set profile, round jaws with smooth edges. I started my search for more of them. Really hard to find. I know Montana has a good replica but those are hard to get too. Sigh…

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

1.75 Northwoods square jaw. IMO one of the best fox traps.

Monty large high lever coils. I toured their shop. But for this dream I'd like to run a few dozen of the newer models.

I know Macthediver would say the Victor #1 1/2 double jaw, and I would second that.

Another vote for the B&L 44 DLS. I had a chance to buy a pile of them in 1979 but was a poor college student at the time. They were ridiculously cheap but they may as well have been a thousand dollars a trap at the time.
Trail cameras and fresh snow have broke a lot of trapper’s hearts.

BMI are the strongest springs of any bodygrip I’ve ever seen. First time I ever saw one was at an Illinois convention,, there were a few guys who were standing around trying to set a BMI 220 by hand.. being young and cocky,, I walked over to show them how it’s done,,, because I used to set bodygrips by hand all the time… Welp , the joke was on me.
I’m not sure why BMI went out of business,, because they were top notch traps as far as the bodygrip goes.

Would like an offset #2 double long spring trap for fox.
Don’t matter to me who makes it or if it was even made.
I’d pay at least $10 for one of those.
