Good to hear Green Bay. I think we had torrential rains that year if I recall correctly. I was set up tailgating next to Jason Defresne, and we had to use one of the trowels he built to dig a small trench in the gravel to divert the water around our canopies. lol

Good lead in too. Pretending to ask a question of others so u can talk about yourself is an undeerated approach

What's your story Grampa?
Take your time. There has to be at least one thing about yourself that is redeemable.

Grandpa? LOL. I am "fairly" young and I think Seth may be even younger than me. I suspect he's just suggesting that the type of drags WD is talking about were very common in the 70s and 80s before people started making better ones.

Proudly banned from the NTA.

Bother me tomorrow. Today I'll buy no sorrows.

Yea, I had one thing I made after re-designing the whole thing when they were not made any more, My Fur-FindR unit

Early 80's had my last one stolen that Ed Courtny used to make, but the market fell off due to low fur sales, I could not find one in any trapping store or fur place, so I made my own, took me a year to get it how I wanted it, worked very well, sold a few then a few more then a stampede of more. Did not even have animal sounds on the first unit, still brought in fur !

Had to start over again after the part I use was no longer made, changed things around, made it better, louder with animal sounds on it, same thing it took off as the fur market did a bit and I was in business once again, until some thief decide to copy it and try and give me competition with my own design in a new container, never did take off for them.

Then I had to change again with more updated stuff that users had suggested they wanted, same story because the other units worked so well this one took off until last December, when the chip used on it reached end of life !

I've finished working on a new one once again and updated things, added some ideas, changed the container a bit and will be selling by mid August, now fully retired so I can work to make sure I don't have to back order, got a new credit pay established because people were asking to pay by card so much I was worried about losing them as buyers and users.

Been a great hobby money maker for me to save for hunting and it pays for the supplies pretty much as well, I get great satisfaction of people sending me pics and vids of their catch's and the unit now has found other use's in research, and biology studies by government workers, as well as trail camera people, the units have sold all over the world and people still send pics because they like the units so well, can't get any better than that, from not having one to use to building thousands of them over the last 25 years or so to so many people , If one thing I did right in my life besides my wife, it was taking the time to follow a dream of making a tool that I needed for my own fur trapping !!!

If there is i wouldn't worry a bit about whether u knew about it or not. And I sure wouldn't need to post " look at me" posts weekly so that everyone could tell me good job. I know what I can do and what I have done and if anyone respects it it's because they have seen it not because I've asked for it. I'd ask u ur redeemable quality but frankly I don't care what it is friend.

There's an entire trap company that does just that.... it's likely part of the reason no one innovates and markets traps, as soon as someone comes out with a unique, well worked out idea it will be copied and off shored.

A good example is the Lil Griz dog proof. After that one came out and trappers realized they really worked well on coon. All kinds of them hit the market at a lower price.

Went to one of her concerts because Chris Ledoux was opening for her. Unfortunately the people I went with wouldn't leave after Chris. That's an hour and a half of my life i won't ever get back. There are definitely some similarities between her and old Billy.

I apologize for referring to you as 'grampa'. I just couldn't imagine that someone your age would be as grumpy as you often portray, and would have so much hate and disdain for the likes of Wolfdog, or myself for that matter. I guess that it has to do with the fact that you don't know him and you don't know me. The fact that you don't want to know does not help your case any, Hate on brother. just don't expect me to lay down when you go after me and people I know/
Sheesh!
