Got around. To getting one of them saddle hunting....saddles and a platform along with some climbing. Been goin up and down the tress in the yard with em trying to work the bugs out since I got rained out the woods again earlier this evening, tell yah pretty good lil work out

Make sure you practice with your bow and gun while hanging up there in the tree. Be sure to video tape it for us.

I would recommend climbing sticks though and be sure to wear a proper fall resistant system. Please don’t kill yourself by Jerry rigging something.

I got some ordered from the same company as my saddle and platform, I was gonna diy everything but for the price of the bundle I got eghhhh. But got the spurs because I saw alot of old timers used them and now I'm getting kinda the hand of em I can go up pretty quickly.... Down however ...lil slower lol , especially if I have my teacher and lineman belt on

But this is the one I went with nothing but good reviews and I can use it for regular stands .... Also the wife says if I die from claiming trees to kill a pig I better hope she can't figure out how to bring me back from the dead ..... Be very careful on trees with thick rough bark, they are an accident waiting to happen with those. Especially if they are made for poles not trees

Saddle, one stick, figure 8 to rapell down. Done. Ucan make a 1 stick-platform from crappy hangon stand. Mine is less than 7 lbs. Always tied to tree so u can't fall.
