Also see these cattle shoots in the canals and the river but never seen the barges and stuff that they use for them . Well saw this on the ole fab , thought it was pretty cool

When I travelled in sourthern Mexico in 1994 we visited a remote junge area with few good roads. The small ranchers and farmers would tie their beef cattle to booms out from the boats and float them to the markets. It was really eye opening to see how people resolve what seems to be impossible barriers.

I can’t even imagine pushing a barge loaded with cattle.That would be a good test for greenhorns.

When you set the boat and barge up right, with the push boat alongside, and the motor behind the barge like in the picture you can push even a large barge with a small outboard and thread a needle with it.
