Found a nice old lady not to far from the house who raises a bunch of critters , went just to get some quail to replace the ones we and butchered . Was pretty cool, she was super happy to show us her set up talk breeds food etc



Welp.... We got to talking rabbits and.... $40 for some quail turned into....this



If the truck wasn't int the shop and I could have been getting materials we would have gotten some chickens too.... She wants goats next

The sourdough thing is very rewarding, get and keep a starter, pretty much anyone doing it will gladly share their starter...I'd drop some off but that's a little too far, lol

Egh were still debating what way where gonna raise them , we both don't like traditional cages , liking the colony set up more and more , that or a rabbit tractor which wouldn't be hard at all. Just one of my quail tractors with a raised wire floor.
