I believe that is a chicken. But, don't eat it on my account....wait for someone more knowledgeable to chime in... like foxkidd, or tatiana.

Proudly banned from the NTA.

Bother me tomorrow. Today I'll buy no sorrows.

Yep looks like a chicken mushroom. Just picked a bunch this week along with a bunch of Chantrelles. Get them while you can, fresh.

It's hard to tell in the picture. It should have small pores on the underside, instead of gills. Chicken of the woods are polypore mushrooms. Hopefully Tatiana sees this.

Stop over cooking your meat! It isn’t gamey, it’s over cooked!

Wife said they don't have gills. Didn't have them for dinner tonight just need to be 100% sure first.

Definitely chickens aka sulpher shelfs…
They are a bit drab,, which means they are starting to get old. The brighter, the better.

The yellow on the underside is faded… typical of older chickens.
Bright orange mixed with yellow, are prime chickens. When they start to get old the colors fade
