Last week I took my annual solo trip with the dog, to outlaw caves in Wyoming, just west of Kaycee. It's a very neat area, with lots of history. Thought I'd share some pics.

Nice pics. Sometimes great fishing down there in the Middle Fork if your feet & knees are up to the journey. I always liked the turtle petroglyphs there above the river. Wandered what role the turtles played in their lives.

Looks like The powder river country up Kacyee way

I went deer hunting out to Kaycee a few years back with a rancher that lived on the Powder river. Beautiful country. I mentioned there was a tour guide that took people around that was very good. The Hole in the Wall gang and a tribe of indians that escaped the Calvary through a pass near there.

First "out west" hunt was in the Kaycee area on the Powder river Neat area and it wasn't all that long ago (80's) that some of the old timers remember first hand accounts of Butch Cassidy, people's folks who fought in the Johnson Co wars . The history out here is still fairly new realtivly which I think is really cool

I did, but I'm not trout fisherman. I tossed around a few mepps spinners, and got a few bites, but no catches. I saw lots of trout swimming around though.
