Please, I beg of you BP, DO NOT READ THIS!!!

It gives a history, if you will, of how many ice ages the earth has been through. These are climate scientists. I wonder who funded them.

https://www.worldatlas.com/articles/how-many-ice-ages-have-been-recorded-in-earth-s-history.html

I wonder if these same scientists you cite can give us a reason these ice ages ended? What caused them to melt without human interference?

These ice ages happened over MILLIONS AND MILLIONS of years. If you think the earth isn't this old, THEY STILL HAPPENED when looking at the same data.

I simply do not believe 97% of scientists/climate scientists, if they are true unbiased scientists, believe in man caused global warming based on all evidence.

When I see BP address Milankovitvh cycles, solar output and changes associated with the sun, and volcanic activity and NEGATE those natural cycles and occurrences, I might also consider man causing a minute amount of climate change.

Until that conversation happens, it is simply a bad case of confirmation bias.

Confirmation bias - Once we have formed a view, we embrace information that confirms that view while ignoring, or rejecting, information that casts doubt on it. Confirmation bias suggests that we don’t perceive circumstances objectively.

BP I’m sure you are a fine man, and you and I would have great conversations about our love of the outdoors and trapping, but let’s make a pledge to not bring up theories.

Rigorous skepticism is imperative to true science. A true scientist will be rigorously skeptical of his own work. They have to be. Peer review is a vicious process.

Money is a part of it

Control is the bigger factor,,,the actual end game

All living beings on earth require energy,,,,,Control the energy,,,,control the world

Before you know it,,, governments will be limiting where and when a citizen can travel/freedom,,,what kind of energy you can use,,,,,and taxing you on it

“For the greater good”

,,,,,oh wait,,,,that’s already happening

I believe limiting mobility was why the evs were pushed so hard along with tracking and monitoring. Especially the monitoring and tracking after seeing what a co workers tesla does. 5 camaras always watching outside and inside the cab. Charging monitoring where % price and milage.

Can see what's going on in and around his car from anywhere. At least now I know why that teen girls daddy bought her that car she was acting like she wanted to race my old truck with for now.

Fortunately, they won't be finding me under a glacier in the future. It could have happened a few times. Although I could have just hit one of those sub glacier river systems and shot out the bottom into the river a in few minutes battered and drowned for the birds to pick clean.

Regardless of the cause, global warming has happened before. I embrace it and will resist the efforts of capitalists that would tax enslave me to fund the impossible reversal and line their pockets.

Pakistani man missing since 1997 found perfectly preserved in glacier. Naseeruddin vanished during a snowstorm 28 years ago. His frozen, mummified body has just emerged as a glacier melted, with his ID still in his pocket.

Since 1900 the Earth's temperature has risen 1.8 degrees F. The poles are inceasing about 2-3 times as fast as the rest of the earth and that is why we probably don't notice the change as much as those who live closer to the poles and there are far, far fewer people who live in those regions. How much the oceans will rise due to the ice and glacier melting we don't know. Warmer air holds more water then cooler air and thus more water can be held in the atmosphere, at least temporarily and may well be why we see fewer rain events but more during each event.

It doesn't matter, taxes aren't going to stop whatever this earth does.

Taxes will not build the infrastructure that many will need as things change and many insurance companies won't even cover assets they feel are in too high risk areas. The population of the world is centralizing to find work, housing and amenities and many of those locations may well have issues either from high water, flooding, heat etc.
Tax money to fund research and engineering studies to help decide how to confront those issues to me is money well spent. Taxes won't be able to do the changes necessary,we have to hope the private sector can find the best ways to manage as the changes take place. We are seeing that now with the insurance companies not covering properties in specific areas or raising rates to the point where development will be only by the very wealthy if at all.
