Mr bodycount you can put a hurt on them with conventional mouse traps and when you round up about 200 let me know they are what i use in one of my paste baits for canine

Caught 2 in the front yard, had tunnels going off into the grass, used a rat snap trap with a peanut wedged onto the trigger, set near the main hole and bam, seems to have cured the problem..doesn't seem to be an infestation
set a box, or something covering the trap tp keep the birds from sampling the peanut.

If you set mouse traps in the runs the voles make, you pretty much immediately catch them. You can set the traps without bait, perpendicular to the runs. They follow the runs like a train follows a track. Voles seldom travel more than 10' from their burrows.
