TINEMASTER OP trapper Joined: Feb 2009 NORTHERN NJ	This past wknd we were at the summer place. We have a older JD 420 square style old school hood model.Runs like a top. That being said when shutting it down and the key in the off position temp light and battery light on dash stay on. When I reststart and jiggle key while running and than shutting it down lights will stay off. My thought is bad ignition switch, I haven't looked at a diagram yet to see what sits before or after the switch. Has anyone had a similar issue and if so I am on the right path here thinking switch is bad. Thanks in advance TINEMASTER

Cragar trapper Joined: Feb 2007 New York border	You said - older Try putting just a tiny bit of WD-40 onto the moving parts of the ignition switch , if it gets better , the switch is getting old and may need replacement. The reason I say this is you stated it helps sometimes when you jiggle it. NRA benefactor member
