Just saw one while out on the deck relieving myself.

I’m going to try to get out there sometime in the wee hours this morning when they are saying they will be be peaking.

I will look for them. Some years the Perseids are spectacular. Unfortunately, the mosquito numbers are pretty spectacular right now, so I probably won't look for long.

I’m camped in the yard. I’ve seen 4 in the last half hour. I’m in it for the long haul though.

I take the pup out a few time overnight ill be looking around then.

I've watched them for many years, sometimes they are amazing, other times a let down, have been noticing some long flyers this year, watch when you can they don't last long and gone !!

Earlier today, there was no rain in the forecast for tonight, but of course it started raining.

Yesterday morning at 4a.m. fishing walleye they were falling around me. Saw around 20. Part of what I love being outdoors more than most

I saw a couple.

The Vulcan rocket launched really had the hillbilly's up here in a tizzy with it's exhaust plumes.

My one neighbor thought it was aliens using cover of the meteor shower to mask a hostile take over attempt.

Right at 9 I saw that too and this morning I saw a few meteors. Just 3 or 4 not a lot......jk

I was out a few more times overnight, to let me and the dogs out. LOL I saw a total of seven.

As said above: some nice long fliers and all out of the northeast.

The slightly waning full moon (waning gibbous) sure was bright last night.

I missed the Vulcan rocket launch.

Didn’t see squat last night what a bummer sick dog kept me up most of the night, get a dog it will be fun ya right. LOL She’s better now just a tummy ache would not settle down until she chucked a couple time what fun!

Few years I got into my tree stand and watched 50 or so before dawn.

You’d need a blood transfusion if you pulled that around here. The skeeters woulda carried you away.

We have a lot of bats and insect-eating birds patrolling our property. Never had much of a bug pest problem even with the pond and creek nearby.

No Persied viewing last night/early this morning. Solid overcast the whole time.

The Geminids in December will be the next best shot at seeing a bunch.
