Yup, bomb saved a lot of lives.

Here's my Dad in late '44, early '45, on either Tinian, Leyte, or Mindiro.
They bounced around a lot.

Note field improvised splint on right arm.
And ever present cigar, right up into.his 90s, lol.

Funny how teenagers looked like they were 40 back then
