I'm blessed with a good woman. I give her a rough idea of what I'm doing and how long I'll be gone, and she pretty much leaves me alone. She does tend to call a bit more when it's -20 and I'm beaver trapping, but I figure she's just seeing if she can cash in my life insurance policy.

My whole crowd is on life360. Look on the bright side you can tell her to get you a 12er if you see shes close to the store lol. If youre going on a mission just leave the phone at home or dangit i left it in the tractor

I used to just answer the phone , no point in lying , but did she have a way of calling every time I was hanging out of a tree. it was like she had a camera.

I would self report what gun I had bought and what money needed to be moved if any when I walked in the door.

I find it hard to believe that anyone would voluntarily (not court ordered) enroll themselves in such a thing. Just having a cell phone is bad enough.

I have a bunch of pictures on my phone of the woods and restaurants.

She'll ask where I'm at and I'll pick a picture based on my need to mess with her a little.

A couple times I've sent her pics of the outside of a "gentlemen's club".

I once had my kid when he was 13 go up and act like he was opening to the door to one such establishment.

I took a pic of him and sent it to her with the caption "Teaching him young".

The got me a flurry of increasingly angry texts.

It didn't help my cause any when he got home and started telling her about the poles and stages.

She's pretty easy going. So I usually don't get in too much trouble. That one I did have to sleep in the garage for a night.

We have life 360 for the family..lol we watch the sister law more then anyone, she is a hootch we wanna see what guy she is with and watch her try to hide it from her mom. but hardly ever look, no need too. Only if I know she be going through town I'll see if she is there and tell her swing by and get me a sandwich! Lol honestly has came to be in use if I need things and I dont want to get out other then to spy on what she is doing.

Unless you are some kind of whiz kid with your phone and can tell if it is or isn't, if someone is asking, assume it's on there whether you allowed it or not. Was at a conference once and lady speaker told us....then showed us.......she had put that on her daughter's and mother's phone without their knowledge or consent. She seemed to think it was within her rights to keep track of them.

It's very easy to turn your location sharing off. It comes in handy sometimes.

We all have the Life360. If I go down in the woods, it’ll be a fast way to find my carcass. Beats waiting on circling buzzards.

Faraday bag will stop the trackers. Course as soon as you want to use the phone again, better do it where you want to be

I should probably install it on the familys phones now the boys are geting older. Like said would be nice incase you fall or have a back or knee go out ik the woods. IF you have service.

Never bothered me, felt she cares enough to check on me especially when I'm out alone hunting or trapping, I think thats a good thing ! Most of the time I just give her a time to start worrying and that most areas do not have any cell coverage any way !

She never checks up on me while I'm in the city proper, though I do let her know if I'm going to be late on something that is planned for the same day or evening

Not a shot. My wife would never ask, but she's told me stories about her friends and such that have this stuff. I told her if she ever required me to put a tracker on my phone, I'd just throw it into Lake Superior and be phoneless. I don't take the thing anywhere with me anyway, so it wouldn't do her much good.

I'll readily admit that technology advances have done a lot of good for society. But I'm very against being constantly reachable and having my location watched.

I have the Life360 app. She only looks at it when I’m on a hunt or a hunting trip. So if I don’t check in she can send rescue crews to come find my dumb butt if I’m lost or injured while out in the woods.

Diane set some sort of tracker on a friend of ours phone, after he had a heart attack while baling hay, so we can find him if something goes wrong. He will be 77 in October. He has some neuropathy in his feet, that causes balance issues. He still does a lot of work on his farm and other ones and we want to be able to rescue him if he needs it. Plus we give him rides back and forth from where his equipment is pretty often and he may be back 1 1/2 miles from a road.

If I die out in the outdoors everybody that knows me will know I took my turn at dying doing what I love. No thanks on the tracker. If somebody wants to know where I am they can call and ask.

Personally, I would rather nature take care of my dead body, than someone making money off my demise .

A lot of times I don't hear my phone. My boys across the room will tell me hey dad you phone is ringing. I ask where its at and they say sound like in your pocket. Bad hearing sucks

Any vehicle made anymore has a tracker on it, weather you use it or not!
