Unless you are some kind of whiz kid with your phone and can tell if it is or isn't, if someone is asking, assume it's on there whether you allowed it or not. Was at a conference once and lady speaker told us....then showed us.......she had put that on her daughter's and mother's phone without their knowledge or consent. She seemed to think it was within her rights to keep track of them.

It's very easy to turn your location sharing off. It comes in handy sometimes.

We all have the Life360. If I go down in the woods, it’ll be a fast way to find my carcass. Beats waiting on circling buzzards.

Faraday bag will stop the trackers. Course as soon as you want to use the phone again, better do it where you want to be

I should probably install it on the familys phones now the boys are geting older. Like said would be nice incase you fall or have a back or knee go out ik the woods. IF you have service.

Never bothered me, felt she cares enough to check on me especially when I'm out alone hunting or trapping, I think thats a good thing ! Most of the time I just give her a time to start worrying and that most areas do not have any cell coverage any way !

She never checks up on me while I'm in the city proper, though I do let her know if I'm going to be late on something that is planned for the same day or evening

I don't check up on her either !

Not a shot. My wife would never ask, but she's told me stories about her friends and such that have this stuff. I told her if she ever required me to put a tracker on my phone, I'd just throw it into Lake Superior and be phoneless. I don't take the thing anywhere with me anyway, so it wouldn't do her much good.

I'll readily admit that technology advances have done a lot of good for society. But I'm very against being constantly reachable and having my location watched.

I have the Life360 app. She only looks at it when I’m on a hunt or a hunting trip. So if I don’t check in she can send rescue crews to come find my dumb butt if I’m lost or injured while out in the woods.

Diane set some sort of tracker on a friend of ours phone, after he had a heart attack while baling hay, so we can find him if something goes wrong. He will be 77 in October. He has some neuropathy in his feet, that causes balance issues. He still does a lot of work on his farm and other ones and we want to be able to rescue him if he needs it. Plus we give him rides back and forth from where his equipment is pretty often and he may be back 1 1/2 miles from a road.

If I die out in the outdoors everybody that knows me will know I took my turn at dying doing what I love. No thanks on the tracker. If somebody wants to know where I am they can call and ask.

Personally, I would rather nature take care of my dead body, than someone making money off my demise .

A lot of times I don't hear my phone. My boys across the room will tell me hey dad you phone is ringing. I ask where its at and they say sound like in your pocket. Bad hearing sucks

Any vehicle made anymore has a tracker on it, weather you use it or not!
