Northwesternyote,, that Genesis album is good but always bummed me out a little.
It reminds me that without Peter Gabriel the band went in another direction. Some of my favorites are with Gabriel on vocals and Collins on drums

This is real old vintage stuff when they were super young. This tune slowly builds. Not one of my top favorites but just a sampling of some very early stuff

The albums with Gabriel hold a special place in my heart. I'm really excited that the Lamb album is finally getting a proper remaster this year. A Trick of the Tail is their first album without Gabriel but they still had Steve Hackett. Hackett leaving had as much of an impact as Gabriel on the direction their sound would take, in my opinion.
