Took my starter out of the fridge to feed it ( been about 5 weeks )..

And figured while it was fed & Strong...I Bettah make some loafs

beautiful, I just took mine out to energize it but didn't make the bread, frown

Tried a different baking method.

Used these 5x9 tin pans ....put the 400 gram dough in the tin with some parchment

Paper ..then just use another 5x9 tin as a lid...then put a small cast iron skillet

On top...to keep the rising dough from popping the tin off.

No pre heating like cast iron vessels....and works pretty slick...

Producing a nice thin crispy crust [Linked Image]

Looking good Nessy. My wife is addicted to sourdough stuff these days and has been making lots of it, but it's currently too hot to be running the oven. The AC is having a hard enough time keeping up. She says she doesn't put any weight on the covering loaf pan.

Nice looking bread Boys. I been baking bred all summah about every 3 week. Not eating as much this time of year and have one in the freezah do not to run out.
