same here , but we get a bear wandering through every couple years it seems caught on camera.

a few years ago had one filmed right in the city of Monroe WI in front of the hospital.

no one told the bears they don't live here.

same goes for mountain lion , DNR is all deny deny deny till someone hits it on the highway.
then maybe all those folks who swore they saw a mountain lion weren't so wrong after all.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Bear. The area I live is is not considered 'bear habitat ' either, but we do get them wandering through occasionally. Those young bears, males especially I've been told, will travel many, many miles in the spring and early fall.

Looks like a bear to me Tommie. We have had a couple over the last 5 years or so down in the Gallatin area that were eventually hit and killed along the highway. I think both were young males that were apparently looking for a new home range after being run off from home. Gallatin is a long way from known bear range.

I've seen pictures of that animal before.
Can't remember it's name species .
But it's not a bear as we know it!
IT'S fascinating the different types of animals from around the world, that can be confused with others.

Not anymore.
Of course it's a black bear, look at those feet; they are plantigrade, only other animal of that size in north America are humans.
