$5.50 for a hefeweizen here with a slice of lemon. A lemon slice with your beer seems kinda gay.

anyone else tried Pabst Light? I like it , a little change up from the Miller lite I have been drinking.
3.5 carbs vs the 3.2 of Miller light but a few bucks less and it's good
I know light beer , but it beets no beer
and you get 5 light/lite beers to the slice of bread
15-21 carbs per slice of bread Miller now makes an Extra Lite, Now I do not consider lite beers to be real beers, But if you are looking for a low carb adult thirst quencher, this is it.
Just the right amount of whelm.

Smoking bans closed a lot of bars I believe. Or at least seemed to hear about a lot of closings at about the same time. Then covid finished a lot more off.

About $3.00-$4.00 a can at the bar here depending on brand, but like some have said I haven't been in a bar for a long time. When I came home from service the service (61) most beer was .25 and higher brands .30, times have changed. If I need beer now I go to Walmart Keystone Light $14.95 for a 30 pack that lasts me a long time. Not like the old days! A case of Kestone Light would last me a long time too...cause I'd never drink that swill lol. Same with any of the “sours”. Last a good long time, because I’m not drinking them. What am I 16? lol

We had a place that when they made the smoking ban, they became a private club. Since they weren’t included in the ban, only public establishments. Had to pay a $1 membership fee, got a membership card and everything was good for one year. Had to show your card to get in. Lol

LOL Haven't been in a bar in over 30 years. So have no idea. I do know they get it at half what you pay in a store though, and charge as much as they can. Sports events are a shame.

I don't do bars that much at all , just drinks with food.
There was this good Chinese buffet place real close to my house. I went there a lot. They closed just as the pandemic started. In business over 20 years. Just before they closed you could get beer for $1 with a meal purchase. Budweiser , Sam Adams , Heineken , Sapporo and couple more types , just $1 a bottle. Almost cheaper than a liquor store. Plus they had the typical Chinese themed cocktails like zombie , mai tai , scorpion bowls in the little budda glasses or a coconut , with the little umbrella for just $5 each.
It was cheap even back then. Now ? Forget it. I miss that place , good food , well run , clean.
