Ok got to be someone here that wears Liberty brand bibs??
I have been looking for pair of plain camo bibs locally for some time. Didn't want rain bibs or insinuated bibs camo I have some. Just regular bibs in camo.
The other day I seen a video with Bruce from Swamp People. I see the label on his camo bibs was Liberty. So I went on line and ordered my first pair of Liberty Brand bibs. I have to say I usually wear Dickies. Mostly because I like the way the pockets are. I can also buy them here locally at couple different places catch them on sale.
One thing I find hard about buying any brand bibs. I would like 36 waist and a 34 inch inseam. That Has been an issue and I ended up with 32 for the liberties closest I can get. Seems that the 32 inseam must be pretty popular.
Anyone have opinion good or bad on Liberty bibs.

Mac

I used to get bibs from rual king brand when I was Ironworking. I liked them becuse sparks didn't catch on them as bad it seemed. Last time I went to get some all they had were expensive name brand stuff. I was disappointed wanting some for the farm but knowing how hard I am on them not wanting to spend that much.

Might want to double check that, last I knew they had moved production to Russia. But that's been a good while back and why I gave up on them. Liberty was the overall of my youth as they were made right there in Birmingham, AL. Everyone wore liberty overalls and they were like Mr Ford's model T, you could get them in any color you liked as long as it was blue.

Yep.

Liberty overalls are currently manufactured by Williamson-Dickie Mfg. Co, also known as Dickies, which acquired the Walls company in 2013. Liberty overalls were originally made in Birmingham, Alabama, by the Liberty Company. The Walls company then acquired the Liberty brand in the 1990s. Dickies has factories in both China and Vietnam, so the overalls could be produced in either location.

Nope, zippered main with a snap pocket over that. Pencil pocket on the left and watch chain hole in top with green tab in the middle.

What I like about Dickies is my phone fits nice in one front and my billfold in the other. Don't like sitting on my billfold for years now. Especially since my hip was replaced. One thing thst drives me nuts with all my bibs and regular pants. They dont make the pliers pocket on side the same. They used to keep my pliers in. Now most styles dump my pliers in car seat or chair. Drives me nuts.
Also been thinking need to see a loop inside hold my carry gun. No good way to carry with bibs.

I actually went on their site pulled the trigger on pair realtree camo bibs. They actually have lots of sizes with 34 inch inseam. I dont care for the shoulder straps being the elastic type. Guess I will try them though. Main thing I want is lighter weight and camo. Want something for early season fall hunting and spring turkey hunting. Something I cant wear alone or my poly under if I want bit more.

Pete. I know you are a diehard Carhartt guy. I have 3-4 different Brown Carhartt coats but no bibs. Only brown duck type material bibs I have are Work and Sport. Which was sold by Farm & Fleet. I bought them years ago and waxed them from waist down. Used them for several years when I was doing lot of upland bird hunting. Mostly wear them now when I ride quad in cooler weather.

A much younger me on left wearing my waxed bibs.

Until this thread came along, I've never heard of Roundhouse brand bibs, jeans, etc. They claim 100% American made.
Is this brand for real ? Is their quality pretty good - or better ?

Thanks I will. Used to be a carhartt guy untill during covid they made their employees get the shot or loose their job. Called them then told them I have a family of 5 I outfit and due to that policyit will never be in their products again. The lady said they have been geting a lot of calls like that. It is to bad I loved a lot of their products

Yes, I wish they had the regular fabric type shoulder straps as well but the Liberty ones are also elastic so that is kind of a wash. I have had a pair for about a year and they are perfect for what you describe.

Yes. Made in OK I think. I have 3 pair. Hickory stripe, blue and brown cotton duck. They are OK. In my humble mind, better option is Key......The Aristocrat of Overalls. They might be made in Kansas. Another brand is Big Smith. Once upon a time, they were made in MO. There is a nest of them in that region.

All of them seem to be made of thin cloth. Blue and striped, knees blow out first.
