Ford no longer makes this seal. For the front out axle shaft. Part number is BRS-79. Carquest ordered what they thought was it but it came with just a rubber seal and it should be 3 pieces. All the places online I’ve checked says not available

Check out, Jeff's Bronco Graveyard and LMC. Trucks. They have lots of parts for older Ford's.

Try to search for the three seal part numbers that make up the BRS-79 part number.
That might be what these are... National 722108, National 417158, and National 370024A.
This is what plain google AI said.
Good luck.

AI Overview

The Motorcraft BRS-79 axle output shaft seal can be cross-referenced with several other seals for replacement. Some common replacements include National 722108, National 417158, and National 370024A. Additionally, other Motorcraft part numbers like BRS-31 might be compatible.
Details:
Motorcraft BRS-79:
.
This seal is specifically designed as a rear axle output shaft seal for certain Ford vehicles. It is a high-quality OE replacement.
National 722108:
.
This seal is also a rear axle spindle seal and is often used as a direct replacement for the BRS-79.
National 417158:
.
This seal is another option for cross-referencing with the BRS-79, particularly for older Ford models.
National 370024A:
.
This seal is another wheel seal that can be considered for replacement.
Motorcraft BRS-31:
.
This is another Motorcraft seal that may be compatible, though it's specifically listed as an axle output shaft seal.
To ensure proper fit and function, it's recommended to:
1. Verify Dimensions:
Compare the dimensions (inner diameter, outer diameter, and width) of the BRS-79 with the potential replacement seals.

2. Check Application:
Confirm the replacement seal is compatible with the specific vehicle and axle type.

3. Consider Material:
Ensure the replacement seal material is compatible with the operating environment (temperature, fluids, etc.).

4. Consult Parts Catalog:
Refer to a comprehensive parts catalog or online resources (like FinditParts.com) to verify compatibility based on vehicle make, model, and year.
