Coons. Trail sets. 220 bodygrips. Dry and dead. No waders or gauntlets needed. And 220s in cattails pick up an occasional bobcat.
Life ain't supposed to be easy.

In my early years, muskrat, then fox, still love fox trapping. Beaver became a favorite because it brought in mind the mountain men of years ago. Loved trapping period!

I catch skunks every year, but now in cage traps. Caught one yesterday, covered it up, rolled the trap and let it go. Used to skin them for a fur dealer because he didn't want to skin them.

I like skunks, they don't bother the garden , keep the yellowjacket nests down, and clean up pests.

Marten Everything about trapping them is satisfying. They are easily trapped, usually there are decent numbers of them, easy to put-up, always good demand for them, and maybe the most enjoyable is that they are always found in beautiful areas.
