Hi everyone.
Request: We need someone (with experience) who can transport two live beef from our ranch in Iowa to another 100 miles away. Shipping 2 is a different ballgame from shipping a pot load. For details please direct message me.

 Timeframe is beginning of October.

Need your best price. Future work hopefully available on LTL. You will use your own truck/trailer.

 Thank you.

Thats not hilarity. Kill most of a day. Provide a huge value in equipment, take responsibility for live stock, drive to the pickup, to the destination, then back to where ever the starting point was. why not rent somebodies stock trailer and haul them yourself if its a low value job?
Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

Heck, people charge dang near that nowadays to transport coonhounds in pickup trucks. (Not per mile, but per job).

Bother me tomorrow. Today I'll buy no sorrows.

You mentioned "a couple of states away." I think the job would pay $500 max and would need to be someone from the area.

That was me. By no means are 2 head a cattle in a bumper pull trailer like hauling a combine but I just gave out real time real numbers on what trucking is going for. Think it’s a lil steep myself but it sure beats driving it home.Woops, got it. Ok so I don't feel bad now. That's ok. If anyone knew of anyone, please let me know in direct message. Thanks.

Contact a couple of area cattle haulers, give them the details and have them give you a price. They're always looking to pick up extra change outside of their work schedules.

Sale barn managers and auctioneers usually keep a few phone numbers of guys who can do small custom trucking jobs. I'd prolly contact one at either end of the route maybe you can catch a break.

You have not said what is local to the area you are moving the cattle.
Iowa is 300 miles by 200 miles, Local is relative.
A ball park of maybe what part of Iowa,
 or even which counties,

Or God forbid which towns: Might get you some more Help with your problem.
