I wish the State would just tell me how many deer I can shoot and let me decide what to use to kill them with. Virginia does that man. When was the last time you read the regs? Lol

Does a crossbow kill a deer deader ? If it makes you wound less deer cause you suck with a compound I say go for it . use whatever is legal in your state . why are you worried about what someone else is using to kill a deer anyway . Yup. Still archery. Still uses a broadhead. Still kills them the same. Use what you want. It’s ego really. And anti hunters like it when hunters fight about what other hunters should use. It’s legal so use what you want. Get out and harvest good meat for your family how you choose.
Stop over cooking your meat! It isn’t gamey, it’s over cooked!

Who cares Me! I've killed 78 deer with a STICKBOW! My sons and I have 300+ acres in some of the best deer land in Ohio. No crossbows allowed. #1 son wont let his best friend hunt since he went to a crossbow. #2 son killed a 184 last year. Do u plant food plots, or put out food to make hunting easier. How about trail cameras to make scouting easier ? Or enclosed blinds? Most hunters are constantly spenting recourses to make hunting easier. Why not do away with range finders, expandable broad heads, carbon arrows and releases too?

Study done by a university over years and over 10k hunters showed crossbow hunters had more deer unrecovered then compound hunters. So that argument is not valid. And I'm not "worried " about it. Just expressing my opinion which is my right

No, your opinion isn’t right, it’s your opinion.
But yes, it’s your opinion.
So, don’t use one if you don’t want to.
Congratulations.
Just like the no kings protesters, we don’t have a king. It worked!
You don’t have to use one if you don’t want. Nobody is forcing you to use one.
Also, nobody cares about what you use or what you think about what others use.
Carry on.
Stop over cooking your meat! It isn’t gamey, it’s over cooked!

My wife has had both shoulders rebuilt, she now shoots a crossbow and she will tell you, she hates it. It is much easier to kill deer with, way less movment by the shooter than a vertical bow, its heavy, clumsy, less challenge, she hates it. I still shot vertical bows, miss shooting time together with her. We both feel if a senior or medical need use one otherwise shoot a bow not a crossgun. If she really hated it, she wouldn't use it.

lol. Show us on the doll where the bad crossbow hunter touched you. Trigger warning. Sorry I hurt your ego as an "archery" hunter. Again... for someone who "doesn't care" you seem to be the butthurt one on this thread. It's my opinion, ok? I'm entitled to it. More hardcore archery hunters agree with my opinion than yours. Don't agree? Fine. Move on

If her desire is to make it challenging again she should try still hunting or spot and stalk with it.
