Law Dog trapper Joined: Dec 2010 Central, SD	Same spring as the MJ600 take the bolt out pop the hook points they come right off they are not loaded if the traps not set no big deal to change. Some trimming of the spring tips is sometimes required. Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that! Jerry Herbst

varmintshooter OP trapper V Joined: Apr 2008 NE North Carolina	Well I just took it all apart. I thought i had a perty clean trap till I took her apart. I put it in a pot of water and am boiling the old wax and grim off that was inbetween the base plates.

Law Dog trapper Joined: Dec 2010 Central, SD	When I put the nut on the bolt I punch the thread nut area or peen the nut end of the bolt to lock the nuts on. Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that! Jerry Herbst
