I wish the State would just tell me how many deer I can shoot and let me decide what to use to kill them with.Virginia does that man. When was the last time you read the regs? LolI do believe that some folks would be irritated if I smoked a buck the first Saturday of October with my '06 in most of Virginia. | | |

So 300 win mag is safer yet! Turn em loose boys!It is safe. As safe as the person handing the firearm. Is it pointed in a safe direction? Are they treating it as if it was loaded even if they are sure it’s not? Are they aware of their target and what lays in-front and beyond the target? Is their finger off the “trigger” until they are ready to shoot?
Stop over cooking your meat! It isn’t gamey, it’s over cooked!

Oh come on guys, lets just get along. I dont like crossbows IN ARCHERY SEASON, but I cant draw an archery bow right now so I might be forced to use one if I hunt this year. On second thought, nahhh, not my style. If I cant use my longbow I would rather sit it out. But I know not everyone feels that way.
They certainly are effective and safe, but again, under archery regs I dont feel as safe sharing the woods with them, but not sure the data proves me correct on that.

But the data doesn’t prove you correct. They are archery equipment. If legal where you are they are effective and safe. Not all states are allowing them, but it is growing and will be there soon. It’s archery equipment.

 Proudly banned from the NTA.

How would you feel unsafe in the woods with them? if you cant see someone with a crossbow in the woods, theyd have to be shooting at a plane to hit you.

But a xbow is safer?? Lmao you guys really keep digging for something What makes them unsafe? They are as safe as the person using them. Do they randomly go off? Like the scary black semiautomatic rifles that the gun haters are scared of?

Edit: and you cant just sit with archery equip drawn a ready to point and pull a trigger..
