We had one on our dairy farm in the North Country of New York. It sat across the road from the house next to an old horse barn. Dad never used it though he said he and his dad used them when he was a kid. When the Amish moved into the area they bought it from Dad. Along with a lot of our old horse drawn equipment. Much of which was on the farm when Dad bought it in 1958.

Trail cameras and fresh snow have broke a lot of trapper’s hearts.
