I've seen a few of those. They seem to be a good machine. I think you will like it.

That looks sweet, Roy!

Wish I knew how to sew, beyond replacing a button ... I've been looking at them for some time; just never could convince myself I would know how to use one.

My wife is self taught. Started off hand sewing back when we were young and broke, then upgraded to a cheep sub $100 machine from Walmart after a while and taught herself how to use it. (before u tube) . Eventually we were doing beter financially and I had been watching her longingly looking at the combo sewing and embroidery machines for years and there was a good sale going. So I told her go pick out what she wanted and I would pick it up after work on Friday. I was expecting a 3 k minimum machine waiting on me ( now remember this was at least 25 years ago) BUT no My thrifty wife had picked out a used trade in that was only $700ish.

Eventually that machine was in the shop more than at home and the shop told her basically its just wore out. When shopping she was planning on replacing it with another combo sewing and embroidery single needed machine. They work but with a lot of thread changes I saw she was tied to the machine for to long. Being ignorant of sewing machines i asked them jokingly if they had any machines with more needles so she would not be so tied down with thread changes. Well yes they do and it was about the 08 economic crisis and machines were not selling so they had steep markdowns along with trying to clear out inventory at the end of the year. So a 6 needle embroidery machines was not much more than a single needle combo sewing and embroidery machine. So I bought her one. I did also buy her whatever top end sewing machine that store has as well so she had a nice sewing machine as well. She inherited a 4 needle surger(sp) and later I picked her up another sewing machine made in Switzerland. It is so much nicer than all her other machines Its obvious just hearing how smooth it runs.

Point of all that is you can do it. Start slow and learn as you go. But be warned sewing machine can duplicate like chickens. Before you know it you will need more space.
