With all the negativity going round, got anything positive to share?

Woke up alive and well. Not that I expected anything different but a lot of people did not. I also have: great family, food, clothing, shelter, clean air and water, job, live in the best country, have done more than I would have imagined in life, good running vehicles, and all because of God one way or another.

…. I was at the football game Friday … went to take a leak … a lovely African American came in there and said it’s hot… I said you talkin to to me?…. He said yes …. I said take your shirt off then boy… he said he would if it weren’t for the ladies being all over him …. Then he asked me if my wife was out there … I said yes but she don’t like (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) … he shut up and went on

…. That was positive for him

Just rolled some hay on a sunday and nothing broke down. Theres always monday though lol

My grandfather an Iowa farmer, when there were farmers always said "what you gain on Sunday you lose on Monday". He was still farming at the age of 76 - ending up getting the same amount of Iowa soil that the people who worked 7 days a week.

Dove season starts tomorrow so that's a positive.

Got my hay rake fixed today. Took a walk with my wife, daughter and 2 English setters. On my way to get a new pressure washer. Been a real good day. And UT won yesterday. Eric

Setting a few more traps. Going to continue to recondition some traps that the boys recently got. I've got seven Grainbelt Premiums in the fridge that are in real danger. That's about as positive as it gets for me.

Management at work is taking a downturn, but other than that, I’m happy. Got 7 new Beers wolf traps, beaver oil sucked out and bottled, DPs ready to go, new/old 1.5s ready for mink, game tags for everything I want, black bear are everywhere, lots of BBs for the Benelli, 330s & a couple #5DLS soaking right now to check tomorrow morning, little bit of wolf pre baiting after that.
It’s almost 85 degrees here, but thankfully thats supposed to drastically change next week. I can’t complain.

My wife is beautiful!!

My daughter is very successful at a job she loves and she is beautiful.

My parents are alive and their medications are in check.

NCTA rondy is the last weekend in September.

Garden is looking better.

Got my first ripe watermelon yesterday and ate it under a maple tree in the shade with temps in the mid 70s.

Neighbor lady is getting on the AA wagon and doing much better.

Things are looking much better for me at work.

I am strong and healthy.

Cooked up a giant pot of beef stew with beef and venison neck roast.

Lots more positive going on. Just thought I would try to kick it into high gear.

Walked up a mountain today with my boys and the dog (medicine bow peak west of Laramie).

Love a red heeler. Got one myself.

i got a third big skunk today, !!!, also have a big bear in today at noon

Chuckie stained the fence, I got a nice beer can chicken all ready, the little scamps are waiting on a bite

Cooked our first quail today, pretty good

I got a solid 4 hour nap today between shifts. Wife called and my blood work and records came in to my Dr. Wat to start me on meds I said no just cut back on the bacon.

Found out my old neurologist did infact diagnose me with MS even though he never bothered to tell me. Backing up i made a good call stopping going to him.

The last two people may think as negative but I think knowing what's going on finally as a positive. Scary but infact good to know and will make my hard head self stope blowing it off and take my health seriously.

And if I get bad enough in the future I know how cool the tracked wheelchairs are from back when I was helping a guy out that had to use one that insisted I get in his and try it out. So as long as my shooting abilities stay there are ways to stay mobile and get out. but hopefully it won't get that bad and is just human nature looking at the negative parts in a positive parts thread finding the best part of the negative.

I wish I knew you would be interested in dairy goats. I sold all of ours last year. They were spoiled pets and used to both hated milking and machine.
I preferred hand milking becuse I was faster and didn't have the clean up. Wife preferred machine her hand strength was only good for one or tow goats milking 4 her hands could not handle.

I was pleased that when I woke up this morning I wasn't picking turnips from a step ladder.

I only have 1 job left on my annual summer "honey do list".

Headed to deer camp in the morning with my buddy to do a little pre season prep.
Find out which trees are producing and do a little mowing, maybe cut some wood.
Should be a good couple days. And we both use crossbows lol
