Was just looking through a Romanian cookbook of mine. Came across this drawing; heads each chapter. I just recalled that when my niece was little, like 1-2 years old, she was looking at the book on my lap and when she came to this picture, she smiled and laughed and kissed it. She must have liked that face!!
Oh where do the years go?!?

Too many fights on t man about it. I was looking for my cutout recipe for Transylvanian goulash.
Plus there are cute folktales and proverbs in the book!

A little over 15 years ago, my oldest nephew, Joseph, was asked to be the ring bearer at my sister's wedding, when he was 3. They explained to him that his job was to carry and protect the ring. Somehow he got it in his head that he was supposed to be the ring bear and act like a bear to protect the ring, by scaring off any would be thieves. My sister and sister in law made him a bear costume that he wore at the wedding when he was the ring bearer. He growled and acted like a bear when he was going down the aisle. It was adorable.

He just started college a few weeks ago.

I don't have a picture of him in the bear costume at 3. Here's a picture of him at 16. He's a lot bigger now at 18. They grow up so quick.

to put it in perspective , 25 years can be both forever and a blink of an eye

the catch22 of enjoying life is life enjoyed goes so so fast

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.
