Just ordered 4 new Dextero tires for my 1994 Toyota pickup. I know a guy that has them and has 40K on his and still look pretty good and have plenty of life yet, so I ordered mine. A 6 ply tire, 50K, S 112 MPH, load index 108 2205 lbs.
Tire may get 2K miles a year on the at max. Use at ranch and doo some high country hunting that would be all the driving it will get. Paid 288$ for 4 tires delivered to my door step. I will have a local small town shop mount and balance them for 20$ a tire so 368$ for new tires.
I will give them a try but with so little driving not driving hundreds of miles at a time they will do me well.

Interesting. Where did you get them? I know the bashing will start but through Walmart. A lot of companies sell them though.

I have given up on anything less than 10-ply tires on my truck and wife’s 4-runner. The creek gravel they put on the county roads are very unforgiving.

I never have had an issue with 6ply in my area but there is always a first. I have always used 6 ply and for me they have treated me well. You can get them in 10 ply also.
They are made here in USA North American manufacturing facility, located in Chester County, South Carolina, began production in 2017.

MO is one big gravel pit in places with so much rock and gravel. I was pitching rocks out of the food plots after we tilled for days it seemed never ending.

The guy I know that has them is very pleased so far. Even if a person get 30 to 35K on them would be a great buy. I get about that 35K on a high priced tire so with so little driving not much in town or asphalt driving I should be okay.

10 ply is a must for my off road work on all my trucks. If you are running your vehicle for hardtop road use primarily they may work out for you. Pretty much run 6 ply on my stuff never had a problem.

I like them because they clean out nicely in mud/snow.

My mom ran Dextero's on a ford ranger that she used delivering a rural mail route. They outshined all the bigger name brands by a long shot. She would buy 70k mile big brand tires and get maybe 20-30k out of them. The dextero's always made it way past their mileage rating.

That is great Law and good to hear!
Most side x sides only come with 4 and 6 ply tires. They will fool you with what ply they really are and a lot come with 2 ply and call them 4 ply. That is from a tire expert at one of the shops that I know.

That is from a tire expert at one of the shops that I know. They put those cheap 2 ply on Toro mowers when I get a flat I just change out the tires instead of fixing the 2 ply. A simple piece of trapping wire takes them out.
