10 rounds under 2 inches seems ridiculously large for 30 yards

I was thinking with a 13 pound gun from a bench , you might as well use a 50 cal bull with a .177 white dot in the center to delineate an X if you remove it and put 10 bulls on a target like we do with 10 meter air rifle targets.
if I was desinging a target for this I would
make each scoring ring 1/2 of an inch larger in diameter

so x would be removing a BB size dot
10 would be breaking the 1/2 inch line
9 would be an inch in diameter
8 would be inch and a half in diameter
7 would be 2 inch in diameter
6 would be 2 1/2
5 would be 3
and just stop at a 5 ring

I use to clover leaf ...5 shots at 50 yaahds with a Lyman Great Plains percussion rifle.

Used 325 grain Maxi chronicles...with a Lyman peep sight

Yes, off a bench at 50 yards, clover leafs are the goal, and I won't quit til I get them. Patched round ball out of slow twist barrels.
My deer rifle, flintlock and .54 caliber, will shoot 4 inch groups at 100.

he said 10 rounds under 2 inches like it was a benchmark of performance and he only talked about 30 yards as the distance , so if he didn't mean that it was not well communicated.
