I purchased a live trap many years ago. It was entirely brown powder coated. The trigger mechanism is almost the full length of the trap. Works great! Very well built. The gate is set vertically and drops when trigger is activated. The dimensions are 19 high by 36 long and 16 inches wide. I believe it was made by a fellow trapper but I can’t remember his name. I have a friend that wants to buy some for coyotes. They are currently retrieving the bait out of the ones he has but the gate closes at an angle allowing the coyotes to get away.

(I can’t get a small enough image size to upload a photo),….

Thank you all in advance!!

Thanks for the replies! Greatly appreciated. I have never thought in a million years a coyote would commit to a live trap. If I didn’t see it I would still probably never believe it. Lol. He has 4 that run together and retrieve raw steak from the live trap he currently uses. I’m honestly wondering if they have been somewhat “domesticated” by a neighbor feeding them. But I also want to believe nobody could be that stupid!
