Why are we wasting big bucks shooting skiffs with air power? We already have naval power in the area and could just strafe them. No need to risk losing a plane. Already lost at least 2 F-35s and a tug this year....overboard! Think that cost in the neighborhood of $150,000,000?
They are going to fly and practice regardless. Would you prefer a target range or achieve a goal with the practice? Seeme like a better way to kill 2 birds with one stone to me. .

So now the world knows we are serious? So now cartels understand that the death they bring to America can bring death to them? So now the ones that want this new world order and a world govt are against a little "world" policing ? I like whats happening, I like it alot.
Just the right amount of whelm.

this will not turn into that at all. we are gonna continue to distract the Venezuelan POS dictator while we have operatives inside of their wire. then when the timing is right. we will blow his arse up and be done with this heap of dung.
they have no idea as to our intel capabilities and the fact that we can see everything departing their coast from either the Gulf or from the Pacific side. look for a shift to the Pacific since we have smoked two of their boats in the gulf.
The other thing I can pretty much bet, that we have done is to deploy our SEAL team SDV group from Hawaii to this region to infiltrate their canal and river networks. If we have in fact done this then I would bet with a certain degree of certainty that our SWCC boat crews assigned to this area are within the area on our battle ships to deploy as well . we have a member on here if he still checks in that is a retired SWCC operator.

Why are they shooting the motors and not the people? Must not be legal to assassinate criminals?

"In summary, whether it is legal to kill a terrorist depends on the circumstances: if done in accordance with the laws of war or in self-defense against an imminent threat, it may be lawful; however, if carried out without due process or outside legal frameworks, it may be considered an unlawful assassination or extrajudicial killing."

Who's gonna challenge these killings in a US court? Against who? The US military?

I'd say this covers blowing inbound drug dealers into the next life.

None of this is going to stop the drug trade. It might slow it down a little until the cartels adjust, but it ain't gonna stop it. Too much money and too much power involved in the trade.
