Common problem springing up around me is in super densely populated squirrel areas the squirrels are chewing the composite chairs and tables. What is causing this and how can you fix it?

Ok, chair made from decking.

A porky would be doing it for the salt. I assume the if squirrels are doing it, it would be or the same reason.

The easiest way to fix it is to remove the chairs. Cage trapping the squirrels that are doing the chewing might be the job that never ends. I wouldn’t use a kill trap low to the ground.

Alright makes sense, I’m not trying to trap the squirrels cause they are everywhere but I was curious if there was something you could spray on them to deter them?

I’ve never known a deterrent to work, but that doesn’t mean that one doesn’t exist that works.

Be careful applying them though. NY considers deterrents pesticides somehow.

Squirrels will chew on ANYTHING!
