It’s cooler and a little damp today so I’m making a favorite


Such simple ingredients but it all comes together so well. Gotta dig a baguette outta the freezer to go with it!

Chili

I know everyone has their own variations of the dish called goulash... but I don't believe I've ever saw one with sauerkraut in it before. Or a pork butt, for that matter.

I think its the Romanian version.

Me either traditional around here is hamburger, tomatoes, elbow macaroni and some onions.

This version is considered Transylvanian
My aunt cut the recipe out of a Pittsburgh restaurant magazine a long time ago and I tuck it in my Romanian cookbook for safe keeping but I know it off by heart now

Just had hog ribs here. No BBQ sauce.

Any time of the year it is good eating but do agree when it starts to be cooler it is better eating.

I ordered some ribs last night, the waitress asked what kind of sauce I'd like.

My typical reply is "why, aren't your ribs any good"
